thats a VERY vague question, I'm sure people in australia have many, many various views. |

I'm from Sydney Australia and i've travelled to many countries. I would say there are lots of differences in people from all countries but as a generalisation i would say, us Aussies are a great bunch of people LOL!.
I Guess the things that were most commonly said to me as an Australian when i travelled were things like Australians have a good attitude towards life, are laid back, friendly, helpful, like to have fun and don't take themselves too seriously. Everywhere i have been i've been met with a friendly and positive attitude from the locals, even in Paris where they have a reputation for being rude. Hope this helped. :) |

So, I'm from Australia. And from what I can tell from the people I have met from different places, I think that everywhere, people are people and people are different. Sure, as a whole we might be considered 'laid back', but I think that is more of a cultural thing. We have a lot of national pride, but we are all individuals. |

The Brits think everyone else needs to calm down, learn some manners and drink their tea.
The Yanks didn't think there was anyone out there beyond the deep blue sea so what's the problem. Mexico and Canada don't count since the US owns them already (well they think they do).
The Aussies have been everywhere man, and know a good thing when they find it. That's why they always come back home eventually. |

I live in South Australia and I think Americans and the English are very different from Australia. The Americans are so up-them-selves it's not funny. They have the biggest ego sitting on their shoulders and their guns in their pockets. They think they are above the rest of the world but because of them the world is screwed up. The English, well their just dopey and never know whats going on. |

More laid back |

These three countries have many people living in them from different countries. there is a similarity on there attitudes the english are different depending on what area they are from. the USA Ive found are rather serious but that doesn't go for them all Here in Australia we have serious people as well but I did hear on the radio yesterday that Americans are apparently ruder than Australians. This is such a hard question Ive lived in England and travelled in America I think many americans are more materialistic and the english don't care so much what people think of them In Australia we have a lot of hot weather so I think that makes them a little more laid back in their attitude |

All three are deeply racist and bigotted to a sickening extent.
The aussies try to hide this with their glib no worries insincere like me like me I'm an ozzy jibe and have resented immigrants for 42 years that I know of plus more.
Nowadays as you will see by regularly visiting this page the younger aussie upstarts from nowhere are revelling in this recent visa obsession and pick and choose who gets in bullshiit.
A sad trait always needing to be seen as superior.
Insecurity.
What they lack is the ability or insight to look ahead to what is being created for the future. They have many legoland styled housing developments but expect to populate them with legoland people.
Like the childrens books Mr. Men.
i.e. Mr. Plumber Mr. Electrician Mr Joiner Mr.Panel Beater all with neatly applied visas and waiting like nice good men for their Citizenship and Lamington cake. It is not realistic to build a robot perfect style society akin to that of the insane visions of Adolf Hitler. Australias turbulence will implode as their forthcoming problems all ignite from within.
There is a major gambling drug dealing sex trafficking and prostitution grime scene lurking in Australia behind the tacky facade of barbecues bungalows and dodgy superannuation scams.
as for cc_ of _oz
the truth there is that these over cosseted aussies cannot cope with real life trials away from their apron string lives and once the novelty of travel has worn off and they are spent up they commonly go home to the safety net of mommy and daddy with well over exaggerated and fantasy tales of travel adventure.
Most have been holed up in backpacker hostels doing freebie accomodation no brainer "jobs" for months on end simply shifting from one provided for existence to another. |
