I will miss him alot..... He was a grweat man to watch.... I learned a lot of stuff by him.......... He made me laugh when I was down and out when watching him..... The way he used to show us how to treat the animals with respect........ I started watching him since he came on air over here In The USA in 1992.... HIs wife Terrie was raise up close to Springfield,Oregon just over the street bridge and you Were in Eugene,Oregon... I lived in Springfield 1983-1985.. It is a great loose to the world of a great and finest man in life with animals........ I'll truely miss him and wish the best to His family and friends of his life he had on earth... Now he is showing the Lord above his ways he done down here and making them laugh in heaven now........ He will be miss around the world..... Deborah Hernandez |

Steve died snorkeling on a reef that I have dived on personally many times. What happened to him can happen to anyone who enters the water. Here in Cairns we have known about his passing for about 24hours...it is still sinking in.
I had the pleasure of meeting Steve through friends who share a property boarder with Australia Zoo at Beerwah...I cant believe I wont have the opertunity to meet him again next time I visit the Sunshine Coast. Just like you have probably heard...just what you saw on television is what he was in person. There was nothing fake about the man...just a genuine caring and understanding of animals.
My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and children...my GOD be with you all in this time of great need. I hope they can find some comfort in the fact that the world is mourning with them...
I will miss you Steve...the world will miss you... |

Yes, a card is a good idea, Terri will need all the support she can get.
I cannot imagine the pain in her heart right now. Just being an Aussie is hard enough watching the tributes and knowing our Croc Hunter is gone.

I THINK WE'RE STILL ALL IS SHOCK AND FEELING FOR THE FAMILY. I KNOW WHEN I RECEIVED CARDS I DIDN'T LOOK AT THEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS. IT WAS JUST TOO PAINFUL. BUT I'M SURE TERRIE KNOWS HER HUSBAND WAS LOVED BY THOUSANDS. SO MANY DECISIONS KNOW FOR HER TO MAKE. |

but now that can never be done :(

I would really like to send her something too. But this is all too sudden for her. She, I'm sure, Would appreciate everyone's sympathy but it would probably make her sad too. I'm sorry I don't have a good answer here for you, but I do want to say this, Before I never really watched his show. Which made me not really care for it. Today I got a bagel, walked into my living room (i'm 13..love bagels) and looked at the Television as it said Steve Irwin had been killed. I felt my eyes start to water. I was wondering why was I crying over a man I never watched nor really cared for. Its been haunting me all day. It feels so Unreal. Now I realize that he was a marvelous,intelligent,and humorous man. |
