Use Moneygram at the post office. I sent money to siberia. They will let you know where it can be collected.

Either send it using an international bank draft, or send it via Western Union

racyragtop
Send it to me, I'll pass it on.

well, firstly you give it to me................

i wouldnt adivse posting cash through the postal services, it wont get there. A cheque would work, put it in a birthday card, that would be alright. Or travellers cheques.

Of course, the easiest way of all is through a bank, fro your bank account into the account of the person who you want to give the money to. Go talk to them, they will help you - its what you pay them interest for.........

b97st
Don't post it. Wire it by Western Union.

Send it registered post. Alternatively you could send cash to any post ofice in the world for a small fee. Probobly quicker & more secure. Ask at your local post office as it is also much cheaper than western union

Approach your bank. Ask them to make a transfer either by IMO or Bank draft...both methods are safe but you will have to pay a commission, dependant on the amount of money you are sending. They themselves will make the necessary arrangement for the beneficiary to cash the money at a bank in Australia to his/her account.
Never send cash in envelopes by post.
I presume you are in the UK. There should be no problem to these methods . The money will each your beneficiary , let's say a maximum of 5/7 days or less.

crooky
money gram, western union or online transfer.

I work for the Post Office. Ask at post office to send letter to Australia by Airmail with 'International Signed For'. You will pay the price of the weight of your letter plus £3.50 for the International Signed For service. Its travels with priority over other mail, you can track and trace the item until it leaves the UK, via the internet (royal mail website) and it receives a signature on delivery to Australia. It will take about 4-5 working days to get to Aus using this service. Remember the maximum compensation for sending mail by International Signed For is £100 so if the amount is more than this, you either send it at your own risk or use MoneyGram at the Post Office. This works by, you hand over cash, and Moneygram electronically transfer it to any MoneyGram outlet in Aus (like Austalia Post office or any bank, travel agent also some shops) and the person you're sending it to takes ID and picks it up. It takes about 20 mins. Prices vary on the amount you send.
the ultimate best way is to get on a plane and take it yourself, Australia is brilliant!
Hope this helps.

Hi
If you want to post money to Australia.
I don't know if your in the UK or not, but the UK Post Office does something called 'International Signed For'. This will cover you for for about £200 and you can increase the amount of insurance as you like. Your local Post Office will give you full info. I've used it several times sending money to the USA and it's always been successful.
