Aussie Babe
(some people do say g'day, it's kinda cute!)

Usually I say 'hey, how you going/how you doin'?'

I think that's normal... like if I call work I'll say 'Hello, it's Lisa, how you going?"

Spazzed out <--xoxo-->
Hey
Hi
G'day
Hello

And for people that they forgot names it would be one of the above with mate added on the end.

Sometimes not even that. If people are good mates they might go straight to 'How was ya day?' or something like that

I keep reading on this site that some people reckon nobody says g'day.
I don't know where they come from but the most common greetings up here in NQ:
G'day/ G'day mate.
Owyagoin' /Owyagoin' mate.
Hiya / Hiya mate.

Power Flower
Hello, hi, how's it going, g'day, hiya

Like how everyone says hello in english.
It depends how you like to say it or the person your talking to.
Normally everyone says Hello.

I don't know where Adios lives, but here in Queensland, everybody..men and women say G"Day or G'Day Mate...even in hospitality and shops. And a handful say, Hello, Hi, How you going?

THE REAL DEAL SEX APPEAL
hello

jennifer h
Most people say Hi.If you are staying in a hotel or in a work situation or speaking to a new immigrant whose English is their second language then you may want to say Good morning , good Afternoon or good evening or you may want to say to anyone really. Hullo. How are you. Most shop assistants will say that . They would not say G'day but G'day is fairly common.
