At my place Its 46C here very windy and bushfires everywhere. It's starting to really piss me off now and its only 10 past 3 pm. Still another few hours till it starts to cool down :( |

I'm in tropical Cairns and only 29 degrees, 97% humidity - so very cool .. considering !
No flooding in Cairns, it's more south.
.... but we are all outta food in the supermarkets since the roads have been cut off for 2 weeks now. A ship/barge is due in at 1am with stock.
Would rather have floods that fire any day so feel sorry for the other Aussies .. |

I'm in Cairns, and while the raining has stopped for about an hour, it doesn't make much difference because the humidity is crazy!

It is bloody hot, air con hasn't been off and I'm about to go in the pool. Wanted to avoid the mid day heat.
It's only 30C here and I can't stand it, I feel for those in the 40C + heat. |

Air conditioning, water, staying indoors. You get used to it after a while. Still, I'm thrilled that they're forecasting a maximum of just 25 tomorrow in Adelaide. That's actually colder than I've had the air conditioner set to. Back up to 37 by Saturday, but at least everyone can get some sleep for the next six nights. |

Very well thank you. but I do feel for all those in that terrible heat or the floods up North. I think you all had better get on the next plane to the Gold Coast. we have a lovely breeze probably about 29 celsius the waves are rolling and it's just glorious here. |

I'm lucky 2 be in Sydney right now (I never thought I'd say that!), no floods, no fires, no 40+ days. I'll try not to complain as I am blessed and my heart goes out to all those suffering the extremes of our wild country. |
