The weather is beautiful, but no rain has given us a level 5 water restriction. Its getting bad. Not enough rain.
Food is the best, but i'll live anywhere in the world as long as theres Mc Donalds.
Melbourne is way cheaper, and a better city to live in,
I love Australia. The Lucky Country.

I could do everything and aything to move to Australia!

1. Daily life is wonderful, couldn't be better unless it were raining.

2. Yes, I'm Australian and live here.

3. Dry and sunny. Unfortunately, it's always dry because we're in drought and have been for what seems forever. It will rain again one day, hopefully before we run out of water completely.

4. Fresh, safe and delicious.

5. Can't say don't live in either of them, so I shouldn't speculate.

6. Oh, yes indeed. Refer to Q1.

Cheers, from Australia.

Melbourne is great. The weather is temperamental - four seasons in one day its called. Generally it gets hot between November and January, starts to cool off about March and then winter hits in the middle of the year and can get cold, but not usually in the minus category. Food id FAB and diverse, you ca get almost any cuisine. Its definitely cheaper in Melbourne. There is indeed a water shortage, but its required us to be vigilant, not bathe with buckets. Most people love it here!

Weather is nice during the day, nights are getting a bit chilly as we head into winter.

Yes we have water restrictions due to the drought.

Daily life is fantastic!! Cannot complain!!
Weather is getting cooler now that we are approaching winter. But still has its warm days!!!
Food is delish as always, very multicultural so we have alot of variety!!
Melbourne is a lot cheaper than Sydney!!
And yes their is a water shortage all over Australia but mainly South QLD they have now had their water pressure turned down!!!!!
But obviously still enough to do your daily activities without it interfering too much! Although i dont think Melbourne has a problem in the h2o compartment, have not heard anything in the news to suggest that...
I live in Perth!!!!

I live in Melbourne.

The weather, is starting to get cool at night now that Autumn is here (Fall in US). Winters in Melbourne can be a bit bleak, but when Spring hits it is magnificent with crisp sunny mornings. Summer can have high temperatures.
Sydney and above are more likely to have higher humidity - they are getting to the more tropical. Mind you the mountains around Sydney can also be bleak and damp as well.

The food - multi cultural and you can get what ever you like. The quality of the fresh produce is great.

The cost of living is cheaper in Melbourne than Sydney.

Yes there is a water shortage, and depending on what part of the country you are in depends on the severity. There are some parts of Australia that have had above average rainfall.

The weather is crazy. You can have 40 degrees in the first day and 17 in the other. It's cold if u came from a hot place, but if you're coming from the US it'll be ok for you.
The food is OK - there are many resturants from all different countries.
Melbourne is cheaper (I was living in both).
The water shortage isn't serious, but there's water restriction in many cities.

MJane21
I am Australia but I live in Queensland.
Weather is great
food is great
I am not sure which is cheaper Sydney or Melbourne
yes water is becoming a major problem.

♥ Mysterious ♥
how is the weather?? --- Always hot and sunny in Cairns, Queensland.

How is the food?? -- Same as anywhere in Aussie, GREAT!

is it cheaper in Sydney or Melbourne?? -- Dunno I don't live at either.

is there a water shortage??? -- not up here in the tropicals, too many rain forests around. South East Queensland is real bad at the mo.

You can see all the seasons in one day. If you exclude the rent, sydney is not so expensive. There is water shortgae here in Aus. However people take adequate measures to save water.
