Beaten to it....

4 to 6 days. Pretty reliable, use "International signed for" which costs but is as "guaranteed as anything ever is.

I have a friend in the U.S who used to be a Roadie for Santana who has sent me many tapes and we always get them to and fro using this method.

Being a trader on eBay, I find the postie usually takes 6 days to reach major cities down under. Reliable? You're just as likely to lose inland mail as you are airmail. I think that's pretty good service.

Can get it quicker if pay extra but about a week otherwise. About as reliable as any postal service is! if it's high value i'd insure it
