You can do stops in dubai sometimes as well. But its still about 24 hours. |

about 20 hours but this is just flying time. most flights stop somewere and you can walk around the terminal for a while. so you need to find out how long you will be stopping for. to work out total time. |

If you can get a direct flight, usually costs more and very few airlines do this I think Qantas is the only one and perhaps United, it will take approx 20 hours.
If you have a stop over you're probably looking at more like 24 hours flying time plus stop over time. |

Each time I have done the trip, and I have done it a few times now, it has been about 21-23 hours including a couple of refueling stops.
Concorde established a record time of 17 hrs 3 mins on its first commercial service under charter from London to Sydney. But Concorde was fast..... |

dont think there is a direct flight. your best best is to stop over in singapore / hong kong / dubai
in total the flight time would be around 17-20 hrs depending on the stop over. |

You've had your answer several times, but from someone who has done the trip 4 times, can I just add a pennyworth about stop-overs.
If you want to make the most of your stay in the UK, please do at least 1 journey break of a couple of days. It will help catch up on your jet lag and reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis.
Plus - you will get a chance of seeing a little of Countries you may never get to see again. One trip we did NZ, Fiji, San Francisco, UK.
The other way, I can recommend Singapore for a couple of nights. In a slightly different direction we flew Emirates and had a couple of days in Dubai. |

Mostly It Takes Just Short Of 24 Hours If You Have A Stop Over That's Just For Refueling. I've Never Heard Of It Taking Much Less Time Than That, Certainly Not 12-15 Hours. Hope You Have A Beaut Holiday If You Where Asking Because You Are Going To UK? |

about 14 hours, not including any stopovers.
you can usually get direct flights but they aren't as cheap (more fuel carried on the plane means less people/cargo being flown) |
