How many hours to drive from Gold Coast to Melbourne REALLY?

We are travelling INLAND (not the pacific hwy) on the Newell Hwy, and are stopping at Forbes for one night.
How long will it take to get from the Gold Coast to Forbes, and then Forbes to Melbourne?? WE know the distance, but need a realistic and reliable TIMEFRAME!!

thanks :-)
