I haven't been to any of these, but I suspect the following are the premier colleges/universities in WA

Universities:
Edith Cowan University
Curtin University
Murdoch University
University of Western Australia
University of Notre Dame Australia

Colleges:
Central TAFE Perth
Challenger TAFE
CY O'Connor College of TAFE.
Great Southern Regional College of TAFE
South West Regional College of TAFE
Swan TAFE

There would be descriptions for each on the website I've listed.

Cheers.

Are you talking college or university? colleges here are all private and you have to pay through the nose whereas universities are funded by government loans (HECS) Notre Dame in Perth is easiest to get into if you are dumb you have more fees and more expenses. University of WA is good, also Curtin Uni or Edith Cowan University

pskomorn
Have you tired googling "colleges in Western Austrilia? Here is a link to colleges in and around Perth for a start.

mona the 1 and only
search the Internet for colleges in W A I'M SURE YOU WILL FIND YOUR ANSWER..as for the dumb answers they don't know any better.ignorance is a CURSE

best- depends on what ur studying, though a friend told me that generally most expensive is UWA, and that it also has the highest TER requirements...

good luck

I have noticed your question but i live in Brisbane

Looks like you are in the dumb answers stakes again!

If you know the names of some of the colleges why don't you run them through a search engine. It should throw up any malcontents who wish it to be known that that college is crap.

I guess no one on here come from Aussie land....

Good luck.

we don’t have colleges we have universities, west Australia having a small population have many in WA here they are with their web sites.

http://www.webwombat.com.au/careers_ed/directories/uni.htm

they are much of a muchness if you get any advice it is normally by someone who went to that uni and consequently favours their own uni

Fuzzy Wuzzy
Instead of whining, you could have already searched "WA universities" on yahoo or google and had your answer already.

You probably didn't get a legitimate answer because people don't know.

Simple really....

You need to do a search on Universities in WA - try www.wa.gov.au - thisis the Western Australian Govt website and will have a section of tertiary education with weblinks to uni's. I know there is a respected one in Fremantle (just south or Perth), I'm sorry it's name escapes me right now

Curtin University of technology
Edith cowan uni

ok colleges im not to sure about universities however.
in fremantle ther is the Notre Dame, but it is usually attended by those who got lower in their HSC then they excpected.
UWA is is a great university,
Murdoch university is also good.
although i can name all of these universities of it depends on what you want to major in as to which university is going to be best for you. me i want to major in teaching and at the moment murdoch is where im going to go it offers the best practical work.

Try getting some information from this site. While I have never visited Western Australia, I would research all the schools that had my specialty and write/email each for information. You would be spending a lot of time there and what is important to me...is not necessarily important to you!
