I must agree to what these people say, perth is probably one of the safest cities in the world. Pickpockets are probably the main concern, but they are in any city. Just don't go wandering out into the outback alone without telling anyone where you're going and not taking a proper vehcile for it and/or sufficient water. People do do it and the result is never pretty! |

Perth in Western Australia was certainly not at all dangerous ten years ago when I spent a month there. it's a nice place, good pubs and cafes etc. Visit Rottnest Island not far away. Try go south to Margaret River for some adventure. It's beautiful. You jave no need to worry about health. No vaccines needed. Have a ball. |

perth is safe. dont go out at night alone because u can be attacked by gangs and violent youths. (only in train stations and northbridge/city area)
as for health info...you dont need any vaccinations. perth is a healthy city |

Perth WA is very, very safe. Obviously don't do anything stupid like go down a dark alley late at night - same rules apply as in any other country.
Health info.....none in particular. Wear a condom,,,,that's always a good tip. Apart from that, no injections required. |

As safe as anywhere else I suppose. Taxis can be hard to get from the city or Fremantle at night. Also a nasty mosquito virus called 'Ross River Virus' down south at Mandurah. Wear mozzie repellant. |
