I can tell you it certainly does get cold enough for fur in some parts of australia....

I think you will need to declare the coat to the custom officers as it may depend on what kind of fur it is.

Plus . .while we are a nation of many people who enjoy their meat ... we aren't that fond of killing animals JUST for fur.

wellmaintained
it depends on the source of the fur, if its from an endangered species it will be confiscated at the airport. contact the australian department of agriculture, or check their website

Yes you can bring a coat with real animal fur on it into Australia, however it may need to be checked by customs and it is best to declare it just in case as the fines are not worth it so just let customs know. If it all checks out ok you may not want to wear it however because like most countries us Aussies are very much against real fur and if you do wear it you probably shouldn't announce that it is real fur. So yeah just let customs know and enjoy your visit.

It will be too hot for animal fur here, people don't like them for cruelty reasons. Bring your nice Italian Leather coat. Show the customs people at the airport your animal fur coat as they may want to check for insects.

I wouldn't bother - Australia is too hot for fur coats and they are NOT fashionable here at all.

Do you mean Animal Furr?
Like the hair and skin of the animal?

Yes i think but theres always a chance that people will get angry at you for wearing animal furr

Animal fun? In NZ they call that a sheep skin with a squeeze of lanolin..

You would have to go through customs. It's like way too hot in Summer to be wearing Coats anyway. Lol

Chloe
Yes, I'd suppose, but wouldn't it be hot in Australia for a coat?
