Not this time of year. It averages around 25 degrees C. at this time and gets warmer from now on. This is going into summer. You can take a jumper but you most likely wont even wear that much now. Perhaps the odd night only.

Hi. I live in Sydney, Australia and next week the weather forcast is a little cold. I'd say bring a light jacket or jumper. You won't need anything to heavy.

Take something light, they're going from Spring, into Summer right now. They're always opposite of us.

80% of maximum temperatures in October fall between 17.7°C and 27.7°C with an average of 22.0°. Most minimum temperatures fall between 10.2° and 16.8°C with an average of 13.5°.

It can be hot in October but it can also be cool so I would take a jacket or a sweater for the evenings. You won't need a coat.

You can check the complete statistics for Sydney here:

I would bring a jumper or a light jacket as it is still a little cold in the mornings and at night - you won't need anything too heavy though

jackienguyen2007
you better check the weather for the temperature

i think 'yes' because it's still in Spring and it gonna be cold
so take your coat or you can take the jumper

I flew into sydney last week coming from the UK. In the daytime you'll definately only need a short sleeve shirt /t-shirt or long sleeve shirt according to the day to day temperature differences. The evenings are cooler but still no more than a light jumper or light unlined jacket required. Hope this helps.

Well personally, i once went to Sydney at around this time and once in the July period. I found it pretty hot in the July period and extremely hot in the October period. Well that's me i guess. But at around this time it really isn't nessary to bring a coat nor in July (my opinion) if you come from somewhere drastically colder then there, US or Canada. Just think of it as a hot summer in the US. Sometimes i really wonder why they even call it winter in Australia?

chau
Hi, please refer to this site: http://www.weather.com.
It will be getting warmer there now (remember it is the southern hemisphere). Maybe a coat will not be necessary. Have a nice stay.

kevinmccleanblack
It is spring now and the weather is usually pretty hot , it is advisable to bring a coat or jacket as we can still get cool spells etc still. Always come prepared for any thing.
