bullies are often the bullied from another background.
been there and got the t-shirt on both sides, if its a new place and new people your dealing with then just chill be yourself. not everyone is going to warm to you but true friends shine out after time x good luck

i dont think bullies target a particular type of person...they're just a$$holes who decide to (perhaps randomly) mess with ppl...i wouldnt reccomen this, but when bullies mess with me, i try to reconcile it without confrontation (which surprisingly works sometimes). other times (when they manage to piss me off, which is pretty hard to do) i beat them into a bloody pulp :|.
dont think bout bully issues, and its not like asutrailian bullies r different from american bullies, lol...

Just be yourself, don't try to be somebody that you're not. Don't annoy people, don't go behind their backs and stuff otherwise you will be hated heaps just like a girl at my school. Hope it all works out for you!!

Bullies are cowards who target anyone at all if they think they can get away with it. They're a bit like predators circling the herd picking off the weak animals. They won't tackle anyone who they think might beat them. I don't mean physically; it's an attitude thing.
Be confident, give as good as you get and you'll be fine. Redheads rule!! OK?

I am australian and at my school the red head is in the popular group! (shes not pretty at all and mostly everyone hates her and talks about her behind her back though) my friends call her "ranga". bullies at my school mostly target this girl that thinks shes a witch and threatens people. act really confident and you'll be fine (seriously there was a girl and she was REALLY fat but everyone talks to her because she was really confident).
hope this helps.

I know its harsh but YES you will be.
From wat i see at my school 'rangas' n emos are targeted specially. If this is somethin you really wanna avoid you could put some blonde streaks in it. My boyf did that n it looks hot n he looks surfy. But then again some redheads can be hot? I dunno..In the end its really about personality n how you not let it drag you down. If you can defend yourself verbally while being funny you can gain respect.

Although its got nothin to do with ur question, in australia we have high levels of skin cancer n being redhead exposes you more and puts you more at risk so remember to be extremely careful = )

nah dw. there not targeted. your friends might jokingly call u a "wranger" but nothing too harsh. if ur american, they might diss some of the US's politics. otherwise, they'll love your accent or find it funny :)

You'll be ok mate, you will probably get people calling you 'Blue', obviously the opposite of what you are, so call them smart and intelligent (the opposite of what they are).

I have 2 suggestions.. You could dye your hair..
or
I think you must stand up for yourself from the beginning. If you go in scared people sense that and will target you. Put on a front and act tough, they don't know you so you can pretend. Don't act shy, try and be confident. It sounds like your the one that has a problem with your appearance, you need to get over it. Or do something that makes you feel good about yourself. Go take self defence lessons. Good Luck..
