I'd stay away from Sydney as it's too damn expensive! Melbourne is a good choice for a chef. From what I've heard, we have a chef shortage. Try http://www.seek.com.au |

G'day!
I'm sorry but I can't help you with the whole immigration thing, but if you're able to get into our wonderful country I just thought i'd let you know you should definitely consider looking for work in Melbourne. Melbourne (my home) is known as the foodie capital of Australia and if you are a chef, you will love it here. We have so many fantastic resturants/cafes that I'm sure would be interested in you. If Melbourne is not your thing, Sydney is another possible option. I would say that if you are new to the country definitely try Melbourne or Sydney because they are the cities with the biggest opportunities.
Hope this helps and good luck! |
