Nationalities have nothing to do with determining guilt or innocence of a person. I won't stand up for them just because they are Australian too. If you do wrong, it's still wrong regardless of what nationality you are or what position you are in.
Determined to do crime? Then be prepared to do the time.
Think about the number of lives they could've destroyed if they managed to get across the border.
She should consider herself lucky she didn't receive the death penalty.
Members of the community shouldn't have to put up with the results of their wrong doings and feel sorry for them. It's not our problem they are locked up and getting the death penalty (for some). |

The Bali 9 are a bunch of idiots. I don't feel sorry for them at all, they knew what they were doing and they knew the consequences.
I think Corby did it as well though. So I really have no sympathy for her. But a lot of people do. |

I suspect that Shapelle Corby is guilty of knowing about the drugs which I think were probably her brothers.
As for the bali 9: Stupidity isn't usually a defence. I think the death penalty is extreme, but you have to face the consequences of committing a crime in the country you are in.

Corby's guilty. The media treated her extremely kindly in the beginning. It's impossible to portray her family in any sort of positive light though. They're a bunch of large scale dope growers and dealers - end of story. |
