I hate Daylight Saving! What do you guys think about it?

I LOVE Daylight Savings. Beautiful long sunny days, coming home from work and still having daylight left to enjoy, not getting woken up at 5am by the sun.

What do you have against it?

EDIT - Can someone please answer me as to why you people are against DST?

I can understand if you have little children getting them to go to bed when it's still light out can be quite a pain. What are the other reasons?

iam swinging both ways on this, it has its advantages in the fact you can get up early and get things done and go to work shops ect
but i hate coming home to the heat, iam not a beach person, and i like to watch the news at 6pm on T V it is always so hot indoors at that time, plus i like to get on the computer at night and then if im working next day i have to go to bed while its still so hot

Me too I hate it. all it does is make me have trouble sleeping in the night, as its 1hr early, and then i have trouble waking up in the morning again
i'm glad the referendum is coming up soon, but its a shame i can't vote yet lol, or i'll vote no.

I hate and will be glad to see the back of it I like to get up early for a walk while its still light and before the wind comes and blows us away.
I met a lady from a farm outside of a small country town she said her kids get on the bus at 6.30 which is really 5.30 then home again at 2.30 (1.30) for 1 and half hours and they still have to go to bed while the suns up so they can get up in time for school the next day.

Its inappropriate for our climate. Only suited to aging budgie smuggler wearers that go to the beach. Mornings are getting dark fast and afternoons are too hot to do anything else. The selfish pro lobby ignore the issues related to the northern part s of the state where days do not stretch as much as they do further south.

Stay on WST, trade with Asia and screw the Eastern States. They have stolen so many WA jobs that they should be the ones to change thier work hours!.

This thread should be limited to persons with a minimum level of IQ, say a 5 to start with and one which will exclude Matt Burnie and most pollies.

Im from Sydney and this is my first summer in Perth and I dont get what you guys have against daylight savings, its great. You can get home have dinner and still get time to go to the beach and have a swim.

Plus this morning when I got to work at 730 it was already 30 degrees, so if we wernt in daylight savings time it would have been 30 at 630am and id hate to wake up in that heat.
