I have 60,000 AUD and I want to have a small business around sydney or Melbourne what are your suggestions?
I am a migrant person and I am semi professtional in computer but I want to have my business , tell me what can I do , some pople told me start a hair style saloon business but I dont have any experience in this field.
In Sydney or Melbourne, gee you have some research to do.
Don't rush into anything before you do a feasibility study.
Running a business is tough and if you have a computing background perhaps you should stick with that as you have the knowledge which is important.
Starting a business such as hairdressing, of which you have no idea, is not a good idea.

Think about setting up a massage parlour. Consider calling it "Happy Chappy".

If you're from India you can open a Milk Bar (Quickie Mart).
Seriously....hold on to your money until you come here and then have a look around.
One small point to note, $60K isn't a lot of money. For a start you'll need somewhere to live so I'd invest that in a house and get a full-time job in the IT industry. Don't know what you do but you'll easily make over $100K a year in IT. You won't make that running your own small business. Your house will appreciate and you'll make more money that way.
