Yes, you need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) which you can apply online or via the travel agent where you purchased your tickets. They last for a year and will allow you into the country for 3 months at a time. You can apply via the australian immigration website

You need to go to this website: http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ and get an Electronic Travel Authority. It takes a few minutes and costs AU$20.

i went to oz in 97 for a month and i needed one. It would be a good idea to get one just in case

I never gone abroad so I don't really need to answer, but I just want to say that as a tourist in UK maybe can travel with other country before. However because of security measures, I guess some countries today might be very strict.

You need an ETA. This should be explained to you when you get your tickets. Always get it from who you book with, or you may be charged for the service.
Have a great trip-We did!!

SunnyDays
I didnt need one but that was four years ago, check with a local travel agent as things may have changed or contact the Australian Embassy in London for specific info. My passport was just stamped on the way in and way out but no visa

If you are not an Australian or New Zealand passport holder you will require a visa to enter Australia.

An ETA is an invisible, electronic visa for travelers who are entering Australia for tourism or business purposes (eg attending a conference, business meeting or business negotiations) for trips no longer than 3 months.

The ETA visa is digitally assigned to your passport number supplied at the time of application, removing the need for labels and stamps previously issued by the Australian High Commissions

The Australia working holiday visa allows you to work in Australia for 12 months. As of the 1st July 2006 you can now work for one employer for a maximum of 6 months and study for upto 4 months. This gives you the opportunity to top up your funds as you travel.

If you are planning a stay in Australia for longer than 3 months and you are visiting for tourism purposes or to visit family and friends then you should apply for this visa. You can not work on this visa

Yes you do it's about £10, only lasts a year but you can alone stay 3 months at a time unless you get a working holiday visa. have fun

No

No. Australia and England have an open travel policy between them which means that Australians don't need visas to enter the UK and vice versa. Note though that you are only allowed to stay in the country for a certain period and that you may not work under this visa. Ask your travel agent for restrictions they will have the most up to date information

Hell no, apparently you haven't done a lot of traveling, did ya?!
