There's an ace (all things) Australian shop in Broadway (Worcestershire). I can't remember what it's called, but I'm sure they could advise if you don't want to go down the eBay route.

what u talkin' bout?
WOW!!! You are lucky! Why would you want to sell it? Well, I'm sure you could advertise it and find someone to buy it.

Didgeridoos are made in many parts of Australia. You can get them throughout southern Australia and central Australia as well as the north. They are not traditional instruments anywhere except the tropical north and down the east coast about as far as Brisbane. Over the last forty years or so they have spread and many Aboriginal people who have no didgeridoo tradition are now making and using them. Depending on who made it and where he came from your didgeridoo might not be as "genuine" as you think.

They are traditionally made from tree branches that have been hollowed out by termites but many you see in shops today have been bored out with machines. If the instrument is decorated it will not have sacred or restricted images on it if it is to be seen by non-initiated people. By the way, the mouthpiece is usually finished with spinifex or other resin not beeswax.

Those things can have a lot of spiritual significance in Indigenous culture, and if it's been given to you it's likely to mean a lot more than just an object. If you sell it you might give offence to your friend, and someone owning it who isn't entitled to might give offence to your friend's culture. Why don't you ask your friend what he thinks? If you don't want it, maybe he'd like it back.
