depends on your job...but 100,000$ is well and truly a good amount of AUD$. if its a bench mark for you, the average teacher earns 50,000$AUD.

have a look at the abs.gov.au website (Australian Bureau of Statistics) to get an average statistic on the cost of living in Australia too..

This is the links to a page on ABS on (1)2003-2004 Household Income, and (2)Average Weekly Earnings :

and besides all that...Perth is a great place to live...isolated, but great :D

- and we dont sell "Aussie" Shampoo, as in the brand you can get in the states...atleast I've never seen it here, but we have good shampoo. =)

Don't forget to negotiate your relocation package. Price of houses in Perth is high.

Depends on what you're doing. I believe average salary is around 60k so you'd be above that, if that's any indication. Maybe if you could give more info on what type of role you'd be in?

The average salary in Perth Australia is around A$70,000 (US$56,000) a year, Depending on what type of job you have been offered, it looks like a pretty good offer.

I live in Perth WA but have moved too London for a few months. This is a VERY good salary and you would be very comfortable earning this amount.

Howeverr , bare in mind the exchange rates. If you want too get an idea of what your earning in your Country try a website like http://www.xe.com/ucc/ this will calculate the rates.

Good luck and congratualations.

that is considered a pretty good wage as they go. to give u a bit of a comparison, a teacher earns about $70 000 a year
