It's pretty easy really. If you want to live in a country where if you want a job, you'll be able to find one; where anyone who works hard can be whatever they want to be; where it's warm and clean and uncrowded; where the beaches have sand and surf and stretch for kilometres; where (nearly) everyone is warm and friendly; where you can call everyone (even near strangers) by their first name; where multiculturalism really works to the benefit of everyone, then come to Australia. Otherwise, stay in England. |

Why stay in this hell hole??
I lived in england then moved to australia when I was younger and then moved back to england. Worse thing you could ever do.
The only bad thing about australia is: TV, accent can be annoying, sunset times. But these are VERY picky con's. And besides! If you love TV that much you can watch whatever it is online now anyway!! |

Very difficult to answer this. Depends on the reasons why you want to come to Australia.
Employment, Lifestyle, Weather, Friends, Cost of living, Social life, Future prospects, these are not all but just some of the major ones.
There are lots of POME's I know who moved to Australia then went back to England then back to Australia, some in fact several times.
Trust your gut feeling, it usually is right, it is daunting to migrate and live in another country, many do it, I don't think I could though. |
