I live in Boyne Island Central Queensland. Jealous? You should be. Beautiful climate all year round. We swelter in summer with top temperature getting to 35, and we freeze in with winter with the temperature dropping to a freezing 7-9 degrees. Beautiful beaches, small population and great transport opportunities to Brisbane. Flying only takes 1 hour. Then we have the facilities of the big city without having to live in such a large place.

Queensland .. particularily along the Gold Coast has the highest number of prescriptions for clinical depression in Australia... so While it might still be short sleeve weather in QLD.... I'm only wearing two layers down here in melbourne and I am quite happy ...
It's NOT THAT cold down here.. 15'c is not unpleasant ..infact can be quite invigorating WITHOUT freezing the proverbials off a brass monkey...
But back to the question .. I can't be jealous .. cos I live here too!!

Nope, dont want to live there ok to visit occasionally but could never live there....and bindi s melbourne is a city not a state...the state would be victoria!
