No - Perth is right on the sea and it is a warm place - in general.

I don't know if there is a recording of Perth ever having snow but if there is then it will be a real RARE occasion (probably like... once every 20- 30 years - if that) and it probably be so little snow that it will melt by mid morning.

Maybe during an ice age.

in australia it snows sometimes in tasmania, canberra and every year on the well named snowy mountains, in nsw. the snowies are our ski resort area and there are quite a few mountains to ski, with lifts and resorts, etc. check out an atlas for locations but i think the area is called threadbo, one of the mountains is called blue cow, but no it never snows in perth

It does not snow in Perth, alas.

Shelty K
Well the statements are correct It does not snow in PERTH and generally, Western Australia is devoid of falling snow.

However it has snowed on two occasions in the South Western region just out of Albany at a place known as the Porongerups. 1955 and 1961.

molly
No never.

Nope.

Sometimes, it doesnt snow in the snowy regions.

Only snows in NSW and Vic and sometime in Tasmainia but the only snowfields r in NSW and VIC

guy0307
No.
For more details about Perth's winter visit: http://members.iinet.net.au/~jacob/winter.html
At the summer it normally goes to 30 degrees.
In Australia, it only snows at some parts of NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.

beaucoupnice
In general rarely it snows south of the States Capital.

no it doesn't snow there. They only have to seasons wet & sunny

James B
No mate. It only snows on the Snowy Mountains. I originate from Gods own country.

djstilesmes
Hi, it definately does not snow in Perth, as you have read it's a warm part of Australia. If you are a big fan of Australia perhaps you should consider a visit. If under 31 you can go for a working holiday for one or two years. Free assessment and information http://www.visabureau.com/australia/working-holiday-visa.aspx
Or maybe just a holiday, remember your savings double thanks to the exchange rate http://www.visabureau.com/australia/travel-visa.aspx Best of luck, Michael

imarobotwah!
HAHAHAHAH, your crazy! It barely snows anywhere in Australia! except in the mountains.

hantonbob
