The only reason you need to come to Australia is if you are looking for somewhere to build a new and different life to the one you have right now.

If you think you can do that in Australia, and are willing to put in the work, life can be very good here.

Cheers :-)

There's drive through liquor shops all over the place.
If you are obese you'll feel right at home.
If you talk loudly you'll fit right in.
There's lots of sun.
You can drive a Landcruiser and complain about the cost of fuel.
Most of our TV comes straight from our friends in the USA.
You can gamble on just about anything in anyway you like.
If you're American, we'll make endless 'jokes' at your expense.
We're right in the middle of cricket season.

I cannot think of any except the weather.
Be carefull. We have Friends that moved to Oz just because nothing went right for them.
They found that it was even worse in Oz so they are now back, and in rented accommodation as all their money is now gone.
We think that going to Oz just because you are like that is a mistake.
The grass is always greener ---- they say.
