The Australian govt should wash their hands of these fools.

Whilst I can sympathise with their families, I do not sympathise with the 9 persons involved in any way shape or form.

They did the crime, they knew the possible consequences if they got caught, they deserve the consequences having been caught.

The issue here is pretty simple...DONT TRAFFIC DRUGS!

Why should the Australian government do any more for these people?

Evidence is to hand that some of them were involved in similar behaviour on more than one occasion.

There are signs everywhere at Denpassar airport advising of the penalties for drug smuggling.

These crims do the act & then all the bleeding hearts & hand wringers come out in sympathy for them.

If they can't stand the heat they should keep out of the kitchen.

(If they didn't know. Why was it strapped to their bodies and not in their luggage?)
Everyone knows what Indonesian law is like about drug trafficking.

I agree with you and I feel sorry for their parents especially Scott Rush's who told the Australian police they were carrying drugs they should have been arrested on Australian soil unfortunately they weren't and now have to abide by Indonesian law.
I do have compassion for them they could be anyone's child and the Australian law agencies let them down badly and should have to stand and watch their execution because they are a big part of it.
