PA = Per Annum. per year. Annual salary etc etc. |

PA stands for per annum, meaning per year.
Perth is not as expensive as Sydney or Melbourne, it's a comfortable salary, keep in mind that this is gross income before tax. |

It's per annum and it's a reasonable wedge depending on what you do ? |

PA stands for 'per annum', with 'annum' being Latin for 'year'...so it's how much you'll get paid, before tax, per year. |

PA per annum - yearly
sounds good enough for me. Australia you will love living here not sooooo busy and chaotic like US. |

This is referring to PA - per annum
and to cover off any confusion, this does not also mean 'physicions assistant' in Australia, it means "Personal Assistant' |

It's a Latin phrase meaning:
per annum (p.a.) "through a year"
Thus, "yearly"—occurring every year.
So you're talking about $100,000 yearly salary.
per = for each; for every.
annum = (Latin) year.
Yes, you should take a $100,000 a year job, no worries.
You'd live very well on that amount of money.
I think Australia is a fantastic place, but I'm biased. |

By the time You get to My answer You will no doubt have been insulted enough for one day.
"PA" is the equivalent to the old "Fiscal Period" reference that some companies still use in The U.S.of A. The figure advertised is in Aus$ which equal approximately US$0.80. You have not stated whether if is "Gross" (Before), or "Net" (After) Tax. I would imagine that is is the "top rate" of the Salary available on offer.
I can not help You too much with information about Perth, Western Australia, but I will give You the sites for data about Sydney, New South Wales, for use as a comparison.
Go to the following sites to find out more information about Sydney.

P A is per Annum or per year :) depending on where in Australia this is a very good wage. Sydney is the most expensive city for cost of living though, hope this helps |

are you sure the PA isn't referring to the job itself? PA usually stands for Phsyician's Assistant.. |
