There are numerous visas available for migration. The best resource is the official web site www.immi.gov.au where you will find all the information and the forms needed. Invest in a cheap rate phone card and call them here in Australia rather than in your own country, they are really helpful here and will answer any queries.
If you can't use the internet and the postal service you may consider a registered migration agent who will gladly relieve you of a couple of month's salary for giving you the forms they downloaded free of charge from www.immi.gov.au . You are then required to fill the forms in and send them back to the migration agent who forwards them on to the address on the forms, after you have paid them.
Regardless of what any migration agent tells you, they will not get you in any faster, or increase your chances of success.
I deal mainly with business migration but two things I can tell you:
1. Most of the categories are objective not subjective; meet the clearly defined objectives and you will be given a visa, fail to meet them and you will not be given the visa.
2. The fact that your girlfriend has an uncle here will not have any bearing on your application (or her's if she makes one). Parents can benefit from having chidren living here but that is about as far as it extends. |

mainly you will need a skill to get to live in Aus, e.g. nursing, accounting OR get sponsored OR marry an Aus, not much use if your girlfriend isn't aussie OR you can go for a low-population area visa but this is mainly NT and SA due to low population and you must stay living in this area for a good many years to get the visa. |

If you have the necessary qualifications or a required trade you will find it reasonably simple. If not it will take patience and money. |

the easiest way would be if you were a skilled worker in a trade
its a point system so lots of things are taken into consideration
if you are under 31 then you can get a 1 year workin holiday visa and see if you like living there before you emigrate fully |

Well, you have given no background of your age, qualifications, work experience and financial situation. Depending on how well qualified you are and your specific work experience to these qualifications in a graduate level job, your age, along with having at least competent English, you would have a good chance to qualify for Australian immigration. However, you should consult a lawyer or immigration consultant for the process and go there. |

Just think twice before making your decision of moving to Australia.
Only if you have alot of money, or running your own business, or have relatives who are Australian citizens; and the most is that you are not an Asian. you can! |

Yes ! you can.
But that has to do nothing with your girlfriend's uncle there.
It depends on various facts like : your present nationality, your academic and professional education, your financial status, your plan to emmigrate as a skilled worker, a business person or as an investor, your age, etc.
Then there are immigration procedures of that country. If you fitl into any category, you would be able to emmigrate and it generally takes anywhere between 8 months to two years.
Good Luck! |

You can't. However, if you will send me a picture plus the telephone number of your girlfriend I will contact her often. That is if the picture passes muster. |

You will need to prove that you have enough money and as mentioned it is not easy moving, you will need the various critias to be met,not putting a fellow Australian out of a job and prove that you have a job in Australia.
Good luck |

If you have been living with your girlfriend for at least 12 months and she intends to migrate with you to Australia, her uncle can potentially sponsor your application which means you earn an additional 15 points toward the 110 point pass mark for the Skilled Australian Sponsored Visa (Subclass 138).
You will need to meet the other requirements of the visa, i.e. you are aged under 45 years, you have a professional or trade qualification, you have recent work experience and you have good English. |

Slightly tenuous link, I would have thought. Australia operates a points system for imigration. If you have a degree, profession or trade which is in demand, you'll get in. If not, you could always lie or outstay a tourist visa. |

Shouldn't think having a girlfriend whose uncle lives there would help you in the slightest, but check this site out for real info on the points system:
