Well as you can see the financial crisis is global and needs a global fix.. Rudd would not be doing his job properly if he was to just sit on his *** in Australia and do nothing as the finacial crisis in USA has impacted Oz greatly and Rudd needs to be in the thick of things to protect our interests... I am sure if he did do nothing his critics would be jumping up and down as to why!! give him a bit of credit i dont think he is as stupid as what some people like to make out.

Go to Australian Prime Minister's website to find the latest news http://pm.gov.au/

Since he was elected the economic climate in the world has changed dramatically. I feel a bit sorry for him really, he had so many plans for Australia that he just can't implement because all these other world crisis keep popping up. I believe he is doing the best he can, given the circumstances and that's got to be a hundred times better than little Johnny Howard would have done. I do not think he is jetsetting around the world because he wants to, it's his job.

Well he is back in Australia now. This morning he was here in Bris talking to victims of the massive storm that hit.

Right now, he actually is in Australia! yay us.
He is here in Queensland talking to people who lost their houses in the storms on Sunday night. I'm sure their $200 centrelink payment, he has so generously proposed will solve all their problems.
