You could probably do it in 3 days.

We drive about the same distance in 2 days when we travel from QLD to Adelaide, but we are not really out there for the sight seeing. We just want to get from point A to point B, so we are not really interested in taking our time and enjoying the trip.

So if you have the time, do it in 3 or 4 days

Minimum 3 full days drive - spend nights in Adelaide and Coober Pedy

jammer
Maybe 3 - 4 days. Longer if you wanted to break the trip up.

strine strumpet
It depends on how you drive and how many breaks you take. The distance is, 2304 km and can be done in one day and four hours.

ADD: A boat won't do you any good hun, lol.

Tricky
2-3 days with proper breaks. Plus you don't want to drive past all of the other cool stuff to check out.

- Coober Pedy
- Adelaide
- Mclaren Vale

You get where I'm going with this.
