Come to Victoria. We get the heat, but not all year round
It is not as humid as it is in Brisbane. The cost of living
is not as expensive as W.A. There is plenty of work for trades.
Plus we have great food here!

:)
I'm thinking perth is hotter, but I've never been there haha.
Brissy is awesome. Lots to see and do.

But I'm from melb ;)

But darling, you will have a BBQ to cook on and a cold beer to drink, and maybe a pool to float in all covered in sun block and a floppy hat. Just don't arrive in the height of summer so your body has a chance to get used to it. Lots of out door jobs over here actually will not have you on site without sun protection, sun glasses and a hat as they don't want their workers getting skin cancer, gone are the days (dammit) when the tradies ran around in a tool belt a tan cute shorts, boots and a smile!

a bit of oz advice.....Tradesmen are in short supply in Brisbane, so....... and whats not to like in the warm balmy days of winter. I have an English son-in-law here and he LOVES it. you are going to get hot weather in both Brisbane and Perth, so the choice is really up to you ! Good luck whichever way you go :)

The maximum temperatures in summer for the two cities are very similar with Perth being a degree or two hotter. The minimums in summer are higher in Brisbane but only by a couple of degrees C. The most noticeable differences are in the other 3 seasons. Brisbane is warmer than Perth throughout the rest of the year - maximum and minimum. Perth receives most of its rain in the winter months, whereas Brisbane has months of dry (usually but not today), sunny, warm days with cool nights. Brisbane has lower humidity than Perth in the months from about May until September and higher for the remaining months.

Go to the Australian Bureau of Meteorology site for full details:- http://www.bom.gov.au/weather/
Go to each state and click on Climate Averages then the city or town and do a month by month comparison. Brisbane will win hands down.

Perth's weather is good, Brisbane's is better and it's not nearly as hot or humid as rumour would have it.

EDIT:
Bex104 - wherever did you get the idea that Perth is closer to the Equator than Brisbane? Look at a map of the world or better still, a globe. Geraldton in WA is further south than Brisbane and Geraldton's a long way north of Perth.

Perth is awes!
We've got the West Coast Eagles...Premiers 2006 yay!!!
Ummm it's very relaxed in Perth...nice beaches, but probably not as nice as the Gold Coast lol but I wouldn't know.
Hmmm yes I like Perth.

Perth is WAY hotter than brisbane. its closer to the equater, so therefore the general temperature is higher, i'd def. go brisbane.
