arrsh means dynasty and it is a good name in Pakistan and Arab countries but in English countries is sounds like asssss so avoid it.

That kid is going to get crucified throughout his childhood with a name like that. How about modifying it a bit and calling him Ash? (short for Ashley). You can always tell him you were a Pokemon fan once. You better give him a really good middle name so he can use that instead otherwise.

Aussies will make fun of just about anything .our children can be hurtful , our adults will mock for a bit of sport . nice name , maybe as a middle name though

Yeah, I would avoid naming your child Arsh... I would look for another name that might not be easily made fun of... and he might blame you for all his woes when he is going through school and being teased b/c of his name. Do you want that resting on your shoulders... that it was your fault he was teased all his life? I wouldn't think so.
Like another person said, I would go with using that as his middle name and think of another name for your son....
I know its all in good intent, but humans are really mean!

Then again, I don't live in Australia and don't know Australian names. & Kids can be evill.
Well, and least your asking this because some parents give their kids names that gaurentee them being made fun of.
