Its only by tradition,a meat pie with sauce and a coke(coca cola), was said to be the aussie favourite england was -fish & chips-america was the hot dogs.We even have a mrs macs traveling pie now, that is not round, not square, but oblong--designed for the driver.Its all just fast food ,unhealthy rubish but it serves its purpose. |

I think we've come a long way from the pie - but mate, who doesn't like a pie smothered with dead horse, washed down with a choccy milk and a body bash in the surf after a big night on the turps!

I like my pies as a pie floater. That is a pie with pea soup covering it. MMM I can just taste it now. With a bit of sauce in the middle even better.
But I must say I like steak cooked on the barbie better. Just think of it. There you are sitting at the the beach relaxing with a beer ( or wine),with a beautiful sunset with a barbie. Or if you don't like the beach you can do it by the pool. Nothing is better than that. That's what is my Favourite. |
