Australia.... well, you wouldn't have the constant cold and grey weather that you would have in the UK. House prices are going up here though, at least where I'm currently living. |

It is up to you to decide. Naturally the Aussies will think their country is better and I have to agree. I am Polish. I love it here. I do not miss the snow and the cold or the food. Yes it is hot and it is very dry, we live in the country. I am in what they call the CFA to fight the fires and the local people are lovely. They accept me as one of them. Yes sometimes I do miss the churches and maybe a bit of the traditional holiday at Christmas, but I have no regrets |

I'm an American, but used to have an Australian girlfriend, and learned a lot from her. Australia has warmer and drier weather, so you'd probably love that aspect of it. And the people are generally upbeat. Suggest you fly over there and spend a month or so... and then decide. |

It's me ♥

Yes it's better :) I currently live in Australia and it's a great place!
Trust me. |

I was born and raised in OZ and i can tell you its awesome, we have everything the best beaches, great nightlife, breathtaking country sites and its safe. I recently went all over europe and to london its was good but very expensive and over populated. Melbourne is your best choice has a bit of everything, nice beaches, europeon influences, employment opportunities and moderate property values.. Sydney is way too much hussel and bussel and the people are as nice ! |

Yes, i left the UK for Australia. When back there a few months ago and counldn't believe how moody everyone looked, everyone walking around looking at their feet and not smiling, and the rain as much as we would like some rain here i think it would make me sucidal all those horrid/wet days again. |

Australia is really hot, if you like warm temperature then great go there! England definately is colder and foggy but thats just how it is. None of them are better. I kindof have to go eat but move or stay depending on work or universities there. Do some research!
Good luck! GOTTA GO! |

Well der!
It's warm, it has a great standard of living, there's heaps of jobs... You can actually afford to buy a house here. Come to Australia. |

I would suggest holidaying here first and then decide. Or work here for 6months etc.
Some places are nicer and friendlier than others. Depends where you go. House prices are on the rise in city areas and most people can't afford now to buy straight into the market in the cities unless they had/have prior investments or a good paying job - not the average Jo.
We have our faults and problems as all countries do but we have our positives as well. I like it here but we aren't perfect.
I know some Brits who have moved here and loved it! And some who wanted to go back home asap - main reason being the weathers to hot!
Good luck on your decision! |
|

But Why??
|
what do you think????? |

Mate,

i live in australia and frankly i hate it. i was born in europe, and when i went back for a holiday i saw all the advantages. everything is close, whereas in australia everything is soo bloody far away. you have to fly for 7 hours to get to another continent (asia).
i could go on forever.
everything here is overpriced, houses, food, clothes (especially if they are not made in china). there is a drought which has made the price of electricity, gas and water rise.
there is a busload of tax to pay each year and the education system is really bad. not to mention hospitals.
i really dont like the climate either, it goes from one extreme to another.
heads up, australian people aren't that friendly either, they dont even want to offer their seat on a bus for a pregnant lady.
crime is quite high and so are road accidents.
i dont think it was the right move and i really wish i was anywhere in europe right now.
sorry, the prognosis isn't quite good. |
