Australia is my land of birth, and I'd die to protect it, we have the best climate in the world, the most beautiful women second to none, our beaches are the envy of everywhere else, our people are the friendliest you'll ever come across, our beer is on a par with Germany and the Netherlands, our women are beautiful, our Government is an easy touch, our coppers are friendly, our women are beautiful, there are plenty of jobs for all tastes, and good wages, our women are beautiful, and God lives just up the road.

great climate. cool enough down the bottom without being freezing and hot up the top without being unbearable.
most people are friendly and hospitable. you're sure to hear "g'day" when given eye contact.
very multicultrual. everyone welcome. sure to find someone like you. i could go on forever but you get the point.

I've never been there, so I don't know about the climate, but most Aussies I've met in chat-rooms and what not seem like really nice people. Someday I hope I'll get to go there!

It's a HUGE country, so they have several different climate zones. In the interior, it is largely desert, but around the coastal areas there are beautiful white sand beaches. Their seasons are reversed to those of North America - where NA is just now entering springtime, Australia is starting their fall season -- but the climate is more like California. It gets cooler in the winter but you can still go to the beach.
The people are wonderful. Very friendly, very laid back. Aussies don't stand on formality! Their idea of dress up gear is slip on leather boots and clean pair of shorts and a tank top. But if you need a hand doing something, they are right there to help, whether they know you or not.

I am a proud Aussie and I must say we have one of the most beautiful countries in the world!!

North is very warm and with very mild winters and beautiful hot summers!

South is cooler as it is close to the Antarctic. With much colder winters and cooler summers. However winter is no where near as harsh as Europe.

We are a pretty friendly bunch of people and will gladly help or just have a chat!

Come visit! You will be surprised how big and beautiful our country is!

Well climate is different all over. The south gets cold (but not freezing) and the north gets hot and stays hot even in winter, it's stinky smelly hot and humid. The south/eastern and south/western coasts have the nicest weather. The people are just like anywhere else in the world, but if you can't take a joke then don't come here

Depends on where you go. The climate can be very hot and dry. You can play in the snow mainly in Victoria. Most of the people you meet will be nice but like all countries there are good and bad.

Australians include some of the most casual, laid-back, willing-to-lend-a-hand, friendly people you'll ever meet. I have friends from all over the world who have commented on the difference in personalities from Australians and their own countries (i.e. Germany, Italy, Vietnam, France).
