No, NZ is a different country thank god. As for the the friendly banter between our two great nations, sheep are definitely out of bounds. |

Continents include all the offshore islands. The island of Madagascar, for instance, is considered part of Africa. The islands of Japan, Formosa and Ceylon are considered parts of Asia. The British Isles are part of Europe etc. While New Zealand and Australia are separate countries, they, together with the islands of New Guinea and Timor and even the Solomon Islands are considered part of the continent of Australasia.
The grouping "Oceania" is not a continent but a collection of the Pacific island nations. In some circumstances Oceania includes Australia, in others it doesn't. |

Simple answer, no. Aussies and Kiwi's live in different countries and New Zealand isn't even on a continent, it's just land that got pushed up by continental plate movement a long time ago. |

To answer your question - NO.
(Aww, come on, bigbro 1 nz! Of course we have more sheep than you. We are 50 times bigger than you. So many sheep - so little time! hmm may be that is why there are so many of you over here. Where is your NZ sense of humour?) |

No, New Zealand is a separate country located on two main islands east of Australia across the Tasman Sea. |

No, but then neither is Tasmania which is a part of Australia. We're not even part of the same continental shelf as Australia, our islands rise up from the continental shelf of Zealandia which is much larger than the above sea parts and allows us to claim a large area of ocean for exclusive fishing rights. |
