Is Paris better or Australia better?

Which one is more peaceful for a holiday?

Their both great. your decistion should be taken on the time of season your planning to travel, for it's summer in one place when winter is in the other.

Paris is a city, Australia a country - it's like me saying which is better: Chicago or Brazil? ... ...

Sydney (assuming that's the city you would go to should you decide to go to Australia) will be more peaceful than Paris for a holiday! Paris is really nice and worth going to but has lots of tourists and no beaches! Sydney has lots and people are overall very laid back!

Australia, it cleaner and less crowded, we have nice weather (usually)

Paris is a city, Australia is a country so of course Australia is going to be better.

If you want a peaceful holiday it depends on where you choose to vacate to in Australia. We have beautiful Whitsundays (islands), the Great Barrier Reef, Melbourne for shopping, Outback Australia. Other places would not be so peaceful.

I would recommend visiting one of the islands in the whitsundays or even do a cruise from Australia to the fijian islands.

As an American, you will be better treated in Australia.
