A judge found her guilty in a court of law. So she is guilty, |

She was found guilty by a legitimate legal authority of a sovereign country based on the evidence of drugs found in her possession with the intent of supplying them in a legal system where the penalty is death. She was just dumb enough to get caught. |

Yes she is guilty. |

What type of idiot would carry 4 kg of pot and claim "i didn't know i had it"
Of course she's guilty, she deserves everything that's coming to her. |

I think there is little doubt. It may have been some inept act by her or her family, but eventually crims get caught out. |

Yes I believe so there are just to many coincidences before and after her conviction. |

Well, no one will ever know except for Shapelle herself.
I think she may be guilty, but as I said, no one can really know anything for sure. |

there is alot of conflicting evidence so there is no way to be sure, i hope she and her family r telling the truth would be bad to think they r lieing to the world, but if she is innocent then it's not fair that she is locked up |

I have been told that the sister she was visiting work at or owned a surf retail outlet and you can hire boogy boards. She visited her sister a few times, so having prior knowage that boards were available. She handle her board not checking it for damage.prior to Custom .It was in a ease to open cover this board she brought all the way from Australia. The dismal appeal by the Australian Government. Her brother here at home haven't help her cause by repeatly infringing drug law. If she not Guilty she paying a high price for being naive or someone using her naivety |

I think she may very well be guilty, I'm not sure, but all the same I think that the punishment is way over the top...its sad to think that she is spending the "best"days of her life in jail...
The government should be working harder to get her to finish her sentence in Aus & we should all be boycotting Bali...
I never liked the place anyhow, and that was before the bombings & drug scandals.... |

She was found with the drugs. Her explanation involved some alleged conspiracy by baggage handlers of which no evidence was ever produced. That material would not even have got to the jury in Australia or the US. She and her legal advisers had the knowledge and the means to secure some evidence but chose not to until it was too late. My cynical mind assumes that there was a reason for that - that they expected to get more benefit from the smoke screen than from the actual evidence.
She got a fair trial, and was allowed to present "evidence" that was laughable in its irrelevance. |

Australia is divided about 50:50 on whether she is guilty or not. I personally do not think she is guilty. I know 20 years is a long..... time to spend in an Asian jail, that is crammed with inmates. For all the full story on her just google her name. Her correct name is spelled, Schapelle Corby. |

i reckon she's not guilty in this case
her family's got a record in the drug industry
she wouldnt need to smuggle drugs herself, and definetly not as obvious
i think her family or her did something bad to someone else in the buisness so they did this to her in revenge |

even if she was guilty, which i don't think she was, the punishment she received was way too severe.
i feel so sorry about her and i wish people would have protested more when she was convicted |
