It is a super place to live - people laid back and friendly - and as long as you are willing to work and not moan about everything, you will fit in.

Yeah, it is the most beautiful place in Australia, many people in different cultures are living here and I love SYDNEY.

I've visited Sydney and found it to be a great place, friendly people and wonderful sights, but it does have its downsides and problems like we do here in England, you wouldn't walk round certain areas on your own in Sydney just like you wouldn't in London, no were is perfect these days.

I'm English but lived in Australia for the last 27 years and never got to Sydney, was about 70km's outside of Sydney and just couldn't bear the thought of battling traffic for 3 hours to get the rest of the way. Have lived in Queensland and also Western Australia. Queensland is something else, tropical, green, humid heat, surfing, everything happens a little bit slower in Qld.
The West is where I've lived most of the time, it's a dry heat, Perth is a city compressed into a few blocks, can walk from one end to the other easily and find everything you want, northbridge just over the railway tracks from the city is the nightlife hub. Fremantle the arts and theatre area, great beaches and fishing. If you're thinking of coming for a holiday, join couchsurfers and see it all for the price of plane tickets. We'll have ya. :)

i love sydney if you like a laid back lifestyle and the beach its a sure thing.
i think it also has a lot to do with where you stay i would recommend the eastern suburbs and north shore

Sydney is not for me.. I dont like it.
Perth is beautiful and the same with Queensland... Go anywhere else but sydney!! Its too busy and unless you like traffic and smelly air then go for it!! and if you ever go to Sydney and someone bumps into dont expect the to say soory... the people are rude!!

Proud Australian.... just dont like Sydney!!
