I really do hate he died. But don't let that mess up everything esle. He died doing what he did best. Over the past days I have been watching his shows. SDometimes I hate thinking there will never be a new show of him. His new shows are ones they made incase he died. I he didn't pull the end of the stingray out of his heart he could have lived enough time for the hosiptal to take care of him.

Just in that "what a shame" stranger sort of way, combined with that "wow, a STINGRAY?!" sense of surprise. Sorry you seem to be taking it harder.

STEVE "S A LEGEND.
for some its princess di, elvis, john lennon, the pope & even Peter Brock(. But Steve he was a Australian Icon why,His fair Dinkum attitude and his use of Australian slang ,,which sadly we are all starting to talk like Americians,he was proud of his country and made me proud to be Australian, if we all Steves same Enthusastic zing to life we would accomplish alot.
Burn a candle for Steve if you havent already,.
Steve isnt dead he is still very much alive, sometimes when we loose someone we love , they become more powerful,.they seem to appear in our thoughts and dreams, and become apart of everything that is living.
Hey thats why Brocky had to leave too who else is driving steve around.

I was in Aus when this happened and you are definitely not the only one sad about it. A lot of Australians are sad about the loss of Steve Irwin. He was a great ambassador of Australia who had an amazing love and enthusiasm for life and all of God's creatures.

He and his wife did amazing things for conservation. They often used the money from various publicity campaigns (eg from Steve's ads for the Australian customs service) to buy large tracts of land that they then put aside for conservation of the natural environment and native fauna.

While Australian's tend to look on Steve Irwin as a bit daggy (with his ocker catchphrases like 'crikey'), he was a good bloke. His death is a real loss to the world at large and he will be greatly missed.

This sad passing of Steve was felt globally. It served to open the hearts of many to bring about a collective sense of how precious the gift of life is and of our human vulnerability. Steve served as a reminder to us all that we are not the superior beings on this planet, but rather the keepers of Planet Earth and all its' living creatures. We are all Soul including all other living creatures and species and as Soul here on Earth having a Human experience this lifetime,we have the capacity to love unconditionally and to serve all life with respect, just as Steve did. Take heart and know that death is not a final experience, there will be many more opportunities for Steve to return to serve life once more in a positive way because he had the capacity to love unconditionally.

Sad? I was surprised but not sad......i kinda saw it coming. He was always being bitten by poisonous snakes and such dangerous creatures that it was inevitable. If you died do you think he would have been sad. it is only his fame that caused this feeling within you. I was sad when my dad died and after that sadness left my heart upon finding out that i myself was going to die someday of the tumor within my flesh called death.

Belle
I am.

Snagelfritz
Yes, it is sad and he did seem to be a good man and has a wonderful family. He made things fun for people, or, at least me. He was always excited about his work. I remember once when his little girl was helping, she was so cute and grabbed that croc's tail and was helping them carry it. Yea, I feel for his family.
