I am planning on staying at the Summer Manley Youth Hostel over the new year but my friends have booked in somewhere near the Sydney Harbour Bridge and I was wondering how far the two places are ...
If you could travel any where in QLD for a week during Christmas Holidays where would you go what would you do and how long would you stay for and how much would it cost you....
I will be visiting Oz in a few weeks for the second time, and was wondering if I asked I guys out there would it be weird? And if so why? And if not how should I go about asking him? Please visit my 360 page, I have more pictures there.
Fosters..blech, how do they get the cat to straddle the can????
Now to your question. As a female in Australia who has only recently got married and left the dating pool my advice to you is to GO FOR IT! My experience is that Aussie blokes love it when girls do the asking. I can only speak for Sydney but make sure they aren't gay before you ask them out. Have an AWESOME time in my fab country for the second time .

Well the guys in Australia arent very different from the guys where you live... Its not weird just act like you would with any other guy...

Yes - in this day in age sure!
In fact my 17 yr old son just got asked to go 'steady' from a girl! He didn't have to do the asking.
If you don't ask, you may miss out! and personally I think most guys are flattered to be asked out by a lady!)
Have a great time here.

Totally agree, go for it!!

Assuming that you really are female (not just dressing like one) you shouldn't have a problem with the majority of blokes.

With a fosters...? does anyone actually drink that crap? I thought we just sold it to overseas!
Rather than 'asking him out' I think it's more customary to just ask him out for a few drinks or whatever, rather than making it like a 'date'. If he likes you after that, then he'll make the next move - he's gotta be a man, right?

I think its expected. Hit him in the head with a Foster's and take the lead.
