I love Australia. I was raised there and am considering going back next year. You will need to be qualified in a trade that Australia has shortages of, eg. doctor, teacher, plumber, electrician, lawyer etc. The weather is better, the food is better. The houses are bigger, roads wider. I am originally from Adelaide and it is the cheapest state to live in. A couple of years ago I read that the education in South Australia was rated 4th in the world. If you decide to go you really need to give it 2 years to adjust. Good luck with your decision.

australia has good sea food, great beaches, giant desert, good place to work.

england is a giant tourist attraction, from Buckingham palace, to big ben, good for vacation, but in my opinion i wouldn't want to live there.

I've just spent 4 weeks in Australia for an holiday and if I were your age I would be off like a shot to live there permanently, its an amazing country, the people are lovely and very friendly, the houses are out of this world, food is plentiful and fabulous, everything is a lot cheaper too, there is so much to see and do that your spoilt for choice, eduction is great, wages are better, no one looks miserable and the weathers better too, go for it, you can always come home again.

I've been to a town just outside Brisbane. I would have remained there but for my son, daughter, grandchildren staying in the U.K.

There is a vast difference between holidaying and actually relocating to a country there are a number of considerations you should research before commiting jobs, friends and family, weather, health provision, Do your homework before making such a move

well it's not full of illegal immigrants so it's a good start. You'll struggle to get in unless you have something to offer them, eg if you are a nurse or doctor, cos they have a shortages of them.

I wouldn't myself. However people have a good standard of living with low costs and most seem to have a swimming pool in the back garden. On the down side they seem to be to go to bed very early and rise early. That wouldn't suit me.

Australia is GREAT - but never been to England so can't compare for you

:-)

Think HOT weather though and relaxed lifestyle ....
