For me, no, it's never too hot. I love the heat. But remember that the beginning of February is usually much hotter than the end. Check out the weather history for Melbourne on Weather Underground. |

I think that you should just go for it. The one thing that you cant control is the weather. Just make sure that your reception place has A/C |

Depends what part of Australia. I lived in melbourne for a few summers, there were only a few days where it got TOO hot, so you would have to be pretty unlucky to get one of the extremely hot days. Just have one at night when it cools down a bit. Perfect weather |

I think it depends on what temperatures you are used to.
It also depends on where you plan to have your wedding and the time of day - inside a small church might be hot, in a park under a tree might be beautiful.
It also depends on what you wear. Dress for the climate and allow a light cover in case you chill off.
My son is also getting married in February next year, so we took note of what the temperatures were here in Qld, and it wasn't to bad - especially around the 3.30pm mark.
The problem with Melbourne is that they really can experience four seasons in one day, so hot is only one of the issues. And hot might be tolerable, but hot and humid isn't so nice.
