Is it true that Australian kangaroos decided to immigrate?

They said that they were treated badly in their own native land: denied food, killed, shooed away, ashamed of, never appreciated; so they decided to immigrate, and in the process of the choosing the right country now?

and had their feet cut by broken bottles, thrown around by spiteful humans, and ran over with cars.

Yes, They are finalizing plans of how to get across the oceans. I think they have hired a container ship to take them to asia and europe, then from there they can jump freely.... 25th March 08 I heard it's all happening, but that's speculation, many think it may happen sooner. Who knows?

sleepyhead
yes, they also had their civil liberties taken away, as well as their right to vote. sad, isn't it?

I don't know anything about their wanting to emigrate, but the Aussies recently determined that their farts are eco-friendly because they contain no methane (true -- http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20071206/ts_afp/australiaclimatewarmingkangaroooffbeat_071206010044 ).

Chuck
The immigrated to Detroit Michigan..

Yes, they are going to New Zealand, becuase they'd rather be shagged than shot.

Sure, I believe that . . . From Sydney to New York . . . You know? . . . Somehow or another, I don't see the Kangaroo as being much a so-called "dog-paddler" . . . I mean like "treading water in motion" . . . With those tiny little arms that they have . . . Despite the fact that their legs are so humongous . . . So, how exactly would they "migrate"??? ... Aren't they kind of "Land-locked" ? ? ? ?

there is no evidence that they really decided to do this. they might have immigrated but very slowly. Kangaroos are animals and they are not as smart as us so if they did immigrate it would have taken them hundreds of years because kangaroos aren't big travelers. they always come back to their home at the end of the dan and they stay in groups. but llike elephants they might have been traveling only in a longer period of time.

But Why??

yeah they are all headed to Lord Howe Island.

Are you talking about the animals?

The animals can not do that their brains are too small. Also if the go to a new country as a group it would be a migration. like birds do every winter.

EMC623
yeah, because like most animals they have the ability to reason therefore able to make wise decisions

Australia is a continent on its own....it used to be an island of prisoners...unless they were able to swim the ocean, no its not true.
