Most people in the workforce don't like him because of Work Choices laws. The unemployment rate is at a 30 year low so there are a lot of people in the workforce. In the polls Kevin Rudd, the Labour leader (who went to a strip club in New York on tax-payers money) is winning.

If you mean John Howard the actor, rather than the nasty little politician, he is very popular in Australia and much in demand.

And funny thing ~ despite the fact that about 45 per cent of the population voted for him at the last election, very few people say 'oh yes, I voted for him'!

Vote for a party that has ticker makes a stand.
You will than find that party is not popular but is doing his job.
