New Zealand is definitely apart from Australia, way way apart. There is a ditch call the Tasman Ocean between Australia and New Zealand and they are two totally different countries. Different accents, too. In rugby and cricket there is no love lost. However the letters ANZAC means the Australian New Zealand Army Corps. About the only time the two countries are together |

They are completely separate countries. New Zealand is very close to Australia though. Maybe have a look on a world map so you can see for yourself. |

New Zealand and Australia are both seperate countries. They have a very close relationship to each other closer than the US and Canada. Peeps from NZ or Australia can work in each other countries without work permits or visas. They can move freely within each other like going from Cali to AZ. |

Nope, they're Kiwis and we're separated by the Tasman sea. It seems we're like Big and small brothers though as NZlders have it much easier for immigration as the two nations have much in common and have had a history side by side in battle. We're rivals in sports so yeah lol. |

No. They are separate countries with their own laws and governments.
However, I read somewhere that the Australian Constitution accepts the North and South Islands of New Zealand as the last two states of Australia. The only thing required to initiate it is an act of Parliament in New Zealand. So if they ever choose to become part of Australia, the door is wide open. |

One would think it was one country - if the amount of New Zealanders living in Australia is any indication. |
