As comfortable as any economy seat can be on a 15-hr flight (in my case). Ask for a window or aisle though to allow yourself more room. Overall I was very happy with them. Food service was great, and they had an excellent entertainment selection.

I went to Australia (Heathrow - Melbourne), and found the flight very comfortable, friendly assistants and great food, they did the best breakfasts! And the on flight entertainment was good aswel, very comfortable flight and lots of room (well I thought anyway) and the chairs went back which I found out that annoyed the people behind you!!!

Well i am a little biased as i work for them ,but where are you going??,i mean it depends how tall you are ,how long the flight is.......... Is it international or domestic?.Food is ok as well ,do you need special food requirements ,are you lactose intolerant ,diabetic or maybe even vegetarian. Just make sure you ask when you make the booking

I think it's fairly comfortable, I've gone back and forth to the US several times. The food is pretty good, they have all sorts of special meals if you have any special dietary requirements, but make sure to notify them 48 hours in advance to make sure your special meal request is available. If your concerned at all about space here are a few tips. First, ask for aisle seats that are easier to get in/out of (at your ages you'll need to walk about the plane a couple times on a flight that long to help your circulation, as well as bathroom trips, etc.) Second, ask for a bulk-head row. You won't have anyone seated in front of you and you'll have more leg room. Have a good trip!

qantas seat pitch is 31 inches. The shortest of any airline (but a lot of otheres share the disadvantage)
