Queensland is a great place for a holiday in terms of fun, especially if you are going to the gold coast. If you have kids then they will love all the different types of worlds up there eg. Dreamworld, Movieworld, Sea World etc. But Queensland is a great place just to explore and have fun in generally. If you are in Brisbane then i recommend that you go to somewhere like Southbank's man-made beaches or the Waterside cafes and restaurants where they make some of the best food in Queensland. it is a great place to explore so just get out there and do things and see Queensland!!! |

i live in queensland and the best place to go is the great barrier reef and the beaches.. i am sure you can find activities that will take your interest and the beach is always the best place to hang out, in my opioin |

Whatever you want to do you can in Qld. It is such a big state, (At least 5 times bigger than texas!) You need months to see and enjoy all of it.
Just be aware that it is now coming to the cyclone season, so the northern coast may be a bit dangerous, but the warnings you will get are better than anything anywhere else, and the emergency services are first rate. If you are coming from overseas you will need an International driving licence to get very far as public transport is poor in some outer areas. And don't forget we drive on the left hand side of the road |

YES!!! i live in Q.L.D......and its great.....you have all the different beaches along the sunny coast area.....the theme parkes at the gold cost and the tip off q.l.d is gorgeous you have all the rainforests and allt he beaches up there.....great fishing spots there too |

Depends on the type of fun your after and where in Queensland you go, but that applies to anywhere. Contact the Qld. tourist bureau for some brochures. |

Absolutely, there is nothing Qld doesn't have from rainforest to the most spectacular reef in the world. There's outback, there gorges, there's islands, surf beaches, mountains, lakes, rivers. The cities have nightlife, shopping, etc, etc. It really depends what you class as fun as to where you'd target..... you'll find everything you want though. |

yeah its fun...but really expensive.
its a nice place but honestly the only truly great thing to do down there is go to theme parks and lie on the beach.
