Its a great place to holiday as ive been 4 times. Its full of life and everything is so cheap compered to here in Perth. I would love to live there.

My brother moved to Gold Coast and loves it there. Expensive place to live though.

Certainly is, as long as you don't mind crowds. If you want beaches and not quite so many people (and are not bound by geographic constraints, like you will be working there or you want to be close to the theme parks) head north and live on the Sunshine Coast.
