yes mate wec have a/c just about everywhere and in the cooler states/southern states where humidity is a non issue we also have evaporative cooling in alot of homes

g_orwell
Nah we dont have air conditioning we have little people that wave us with big feathers as we sit on the sofa. We dont have electricity either. The computer i am answering you from is run by guinea pigs on a wheel.

I think i might go shoot a roo and wrestle a crocodile.

Tim N
Down here we have both AC and DC. Put 'em together and you get one of our best known musical exports.

Hamish
Just about everywhere.
It's not a dumb question, if you don't know the answer I guess the best thing to do is to ask.

Ducatifred
Yes. We do have air conditioning available. Come visit!

Check out www.letsgotoaustralia.com to learn more about Australia weather and culture. They have a free e-book to help with your research.

Since refrigeration was invented by an Australian in the 19th century, what do you reckon? Actually, until recently private houses did without it. Most still do though it is common. There are some retail businesses in small towns and even cities that do not use it. These are getting more and more rare. A lot of the time we don't need it.

Your right, this is a dumb question!!
Do you think we are behind the times?
Probally every house, every hotel and every motel has them.
So there...

Kyles
You kind find air conditioning just about anywhere, mostly because the temps can reach 40 celcius. Nearly every house has one and most department, food and businesses have them as well, I actually think if you find a place that doesn't have one on during the summer it's probably because it's broken and not because they don't have one.

yes there is A/C in Australia. If you have health problems check with the hotels ans airlines.

confussed!
yes. most hotels, offices, bars, restaurants.....

sarahmuffin4
At least you acknowledged it's a dumb question.

Practically every hotel/motel/apartment you stay in will have airconditioning.

Quite a lot of houses have it, as summer here is a scorcher.

Some restaurants do, some dont. Quite a number just use ceiling fans, so it would pay to call them first. Movie theatres, shopping centres, etc all have air con as well.

Most of the buildings have them...
